As I hold her fragile hand and hear her say.

“I’m holding on”

As sadness feel’s my soul tears streaming out of my eyes . When a question popped in my head. What if this is the last time I will see her alive.

It all started when we were getting ready for the family reunion. As we got a call from my aunt Gayla.

“get to the hospital quick grandma had a seizure”

As we jumped in the car our hearts were beating fast, as we got to the hospital our heart beats got faster and faster. We got her room number ,we fast walked to the room when we finally got there we see a women who has gone through a lot in her life laying in a hospital bed . As the hospital air feel’s around me, I ran over to her side and held her genital hand.

When it finally hit me my Great Grandma Workman has had a seizure. Tears start to fall out of my eyes, more questions popped in to my head. Why does it have to happen now?, and What if she doesn’t make it?

As the room filled with sadness, more and more family start’s to show up. The doctor asked used to go to the waiting room, so that they could run some test. The waiting room was completely silent all I could think was what a great family reunion!

The doctor finally came out and told us that grandma was going to be ok, it was a merical. The room wasn’t filled with sadness anymore.

“maybe this reunion wont be so bad after all” I questioned braking the silence. They all just laughed.

As we all said are goodbyes for now , we all drove back to grandma Stacy’s. Ate some food chicken and more , we all sat there and enjoyed each others company. As we packed are car before we even left the drive waI could not wait to come back to visit my .family.
